Most of the courses are quite basic and appropriate for beginners. They 
usually are usually accessible even to people with no prior techical or 
programming experience - though a logical/techincal/scientific mind is of 
course a necessity in that case.

You can get a complete list of the available courses by going here:

logging in, and scrolling down near the bottom to "topic categories".

The courses on Perl, networking and UNIX filesystems only have two or three 
lessons each, so you could easily sign up for those and catch up on what 
you've missed.
