Don't know if this has been posted yet, but I'll take a chance. GNU has a book for beginners on C programming, called The GNU C Programming Tutorial (website is http://www.gnu.org/doc/book17.html ). Might be useful for some of us, might not. Looks like it will be great for people new to programming or programming in linux.
