[Courses] [C] Re: Anyone doing C anymore?

I like the idea of a C class separate from the beginning programming
class. 

At the very least, maybe it could morph into  a course on compiling
downloaded sources?  There might be more immediate practical application
of that.  That would probably require less deep knowledge of C but more
knowledge of shared libraries, make, and compilers.
