[Courses] One list, or separate lists?

Mailman doesn't delete lists gracefully, and I don't want the sysadmin
load of temporary lists. So: No temporary lists on this server.
We also already have enough lists that I get newbies occasionally saying
'but which list do I want to be on'. I'm against adding a list for each
course.
