Practical C Programming (Re: [Courses] Book, etc.)

i like having a book..   it'd be pretty hard to teach a programming language
without one.   It would take someone writing up lessons and excersises every
week and that could take tons of effort and reading and I dunno how much
time we should expect our coordinator to sacrifice.   Knowing a thing is one
thing, knowing how to teach that thing is quite another.. these book writers
are pretty good at it..    $25 buck shouldn't be a big deal if you really
want to learn the language..   you will still need a book to reference every
now and then

that safari site is pretty cool too.   never seen it before today...
