[Announce] LinuxChix women's miniconference at linux.conf.au: earlybird registration closing Nov 15!

The LinuxChix women's miniconference at linux.conf.au has announced our
schedule of speakers for our day-long event on Tuesday January 16 2007. The
schedule is available at

women in Free Software, career tactics, and Free Software projects by women.

IMPORTANT: People wishing to attend the mini-conference must register for the
linux.conf.au conference. Earlybird discounts of 25% on Hobbyist and
Professional level registration are available, but you MUST register by
November 15 and pay by November 22 in order to get the discount.

About the miniconference

The LinuxChix women's mini-conference will be held on Tuesday, 16 January,
2007 at the University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia, as part of the
annual linux.conf.au Free Software conference running from 15–20 January,
2007. All attendees of linux.conf.au are welcome to attend the women's
miniconference, which will highlight the achievements of women in Free
Software. The mini-conference particularly welcomes attendees from other
women's advocacy and development groups including Systers, Fedora Women and
Debian Women among others.
