[Announce] 3rd LinuxChix Brazil 3rd LinuxChix Brazil National Meeting

LinuxChix Brazil is pleasent to announce the 3rd LinuxChix Brazil
National Meeting.
For 2 years, we had our forum in São Paulo, the biggest city in Latin
America and I think third in the world. Previous years we had about
300 people which attended to 2 days of lectures.
This year, we decide that São Paulo had enough free software events,
and LinuxChix here are a strong and significative group. Besides that,
as in a big city, women in São Paulo has easy access to technology and
information. So we decide travel around Brazil to encourage more women
in other places, and next April 30 and May 1, we are presenting our
forum in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The organization is been done
by me and Priscilla Pimenta, and several helper friends. This year,
besides lectures about Clusters, Linux Distributions, GCC
optimization, Zope and other, in a total of 22 presentations, we'll
have small courses about Subversion, Emacs and Latex, Multimedia
softwares and Perl.
>From very few some, we are now about 15-20% of the public in Linux
events. It is still very hard convince some women to make a speech,
but this year we receive some women proposals, different of previous
year which I had to beg to some girl go talk.  Well, day by day, we
make this world a little more fair.
