[Actionchix] Possible closure of this mailing list

Hi mailing list members,

While we got some use from this list last year on the Plone project, it
has never really served its original purpose, which is a place for Chix
to launch outside projects together. With my failure to conclude the
Plone project, and the new Drupal admin taking place on a smaller
private list, this list has no current purpose. It has only had 40
messages in 2007.

After a discussion on volunteers at linuxchix.org about inactive lists,
we're considering shutting this list down (probably merging the archives
with volunteers).

There are a few reasons why keeping inactive lists around is a bad idea:
 - a lot of lists confuses people about which ones to subscribe to
 - it adds to our list admin load
 - it separates people from the larger groups that they could work with

Does anyone think this is a very bad idea? In your response, you might
want to discuss:

1. what you think the purpose of this list is

2. why merging with volunteers would be a bad idea
