Note also that this poster has been known to send even more offensive
mail off-list (and has also been known to direct it at people's families
too). I haven't received any myself, but should you receive offensive
off-list mail from someone you think found you through LinuxChix please:

 1. take a deep breath and remember that the world has, unfortunately, a
    lot of nasty people, and that one of them has chosen you as this
    day's target. It sucks, but living well is the best revenge.

 2. if anything in the mail makes you think that you or anyone else are
    in physical danger, please contact law enforcement (we have no
    reason to suspect this particular poster or other Chix trolls of
    posing a physical threat, by the way) as well as warning the list
    admins

 3. forward a copy of the mail to LISTNAME-owner at linuxchix.org (for this
    list, it's actionchix-owner at linuxchix.org ). We may take action
    including reprimanding or banning the poster, but the main reason we
    ask this is that we can then warn the list so that people don't feel
    they are alone.
