I have so much to tell you but so little time this morning. So let me start
with this.

Disable samba now! It's a root-ed version and it's on by default. There are
a few ways to do that. I messed with the samba config so it doesn' turn on.
You can also uninstall it or upgrade it. Warning about upgrading, it takes a
lot of your harddrive space because you're not actually upgrading the
existing software, you are writing new software to a diff partition. This
version of Xandro won't let you write to the preinstalled stuff. Which is
sooo weird to me. But the good thing is you can always reinstall on the fly
to the org config, takes like 30 secs t reset it in grub.

I have not installed eeeubuntu, or the newer smaller ubuntu (remix?) yet but
I have installed the advanced view for Xandros, which is nice, it makes the
taskbar and desktop look like a "real" laptop, not the little kid version
that comes with it. However it's slower, so I reinstalled the basic version
because I mainly what this thing FAST.

So what do I do with it?
I go online, the wireless card and networking software is awesome, I have
about 15 diff network configs saved. And it comes with firefox.

I type up notes in class, it comes with open office and google docs works
pretty good on it.

I sometimes use the webcam and skype to talk to friends. It has speakers
and a microphone that aren't bad.

You can add more ram to the 4G, it's easy to unscrew the back and pop more
in. I also got a 4GB SD card so I could save more docs and ppt files to it.

And of course I brag a lot about how cool it is, i carry it with me
everywhere in my purse, pull it out and turn it on in 15 secs to show off to
anyone, anywhere.

Have fun!
