Hi folks,

I appear to be invisible on the etherboot discussion list, so I thought
I'd see if anyone here can point me in the right direction. I am trying
to boot some machines over the network. The client finds
the dhcp server, gets an ip, attempts to load the kernel, but quits
partway through with 'image checksum != computed checksum'.

All I have in the server log files is this:

Apr 29 01:59:32 miles in.tftpd[19968]: RRQ from 10.208.108.22 filename
kernel
Apr 29 01:59:41 miles in.tftpd[19971]: RRQ from 10.208.108.22 filename
kernel

What would cause this? It seems that checksum has to do with checking
for errors when sending data over the network. I should add that I have
gotten other kernels to boot over the network, so I suspect it has
something to do with the kernel, but I have compiled this kernel in
exactly the same way as I have previous kernels. Ideas anyone?

thanks,
maria
