As a matter of fact, I think that I did what in Italy we call
"bandaging your head before you broke it".
;)
I'm writing from my brand new 64 bit installation and, apparently,
grub found the other Linux partition.
It gave me the possibility to choose the booting OS, so I think that
one problem is solved.
I tried and mount the other but I got an error message:
it tolds that it cannot mount the partition because it's not removable
and it can perform pmount.

But the system works.
