The dsniff suite of Evil Utilities is wonderful. Managed switches are nice, 
but rare in the circles I travel in. Just try talking some small business 
person into spending a couple hundred dollars on a mysterious black box 
instead of $50. We uns just use dumb ole dumb switches, and rely on FOSS to 
give us the functionality we need. :)
