Thanks Chix... Kat.. Lucia.

Unfortunately, a hitch has come up outside of the technical domain,
that effectively pulls the carpet out from under this project before
it even begins. All indications were that I would be staying in
Strasbourg, France for a nice little chunk of time; but now it appears
-- 99% certainty -- that I will be returning to the States next month,
in June. Needless to say, this somewhat unexpected development
necessitates a fairly substantial priority shift on my part...

Once again, I thank you for your responses; Lucia's way -- biting the
bullet on the learning curve and using the MX record to direct mail to
my home server -- probably would have been the best way to go...

Well, depending on what I end up doing in the future, hopefully I'll
have the opportunity to rub shoulders again with the Chix, here on
techtalk.
