[Techtalk] SCSI tape drive not recognized

Hi All,

I'm migrating our backup duties to another server. My
SCSI card and SCSI tape drive *appear* to be
recognized (i.e. they are visible in the "Hardware
browser" window). However when the computer boots, I
do
not see the tape drive.  

Can anyone help?

OS: Red Hat 9 (Shrike) 2.4.20-8
Backup SW: Arkeia 5.2.7

In the "Hardware browser" window:

SCSI devices
AIC7892A U/160/m
Manufacturer: Adaptec
Driver: aic7xxx

Tape drive
HP Ultrium 1-SCSI
Manufacturer: Unknown
Driver: none or built in
Device: /dev/st

I have no idea where the documentation is for either
the SCSI card or the SCSI tape drive.
