[Techtalk] tripwire and Enterprise red hat woes

Emerging from lurkdom with a question.

My linux is rusty - this is a new server running Red Hat enterprise 3.0 ES.  

We need to get tripwire (non-commercial) running and so far are unsuccessful.

If anyone has a non-commercial tripwire running on enterprise, please let me know.

code installed from sourceforge gives a "input stream" error:

### Error: Invalid input stream format.
### 
### File: /usr/local/lib/twdb/tw.cf
### Configuration file could not be read.
### Exiting...

any ideas?
