Very much. That was exactly what I was looking for. I took a couple of 
courses in Fortran & Cobol in 1979 or thereabouts, so let's say that 
I've had an introduction to programming, but it was lost in the grey 
matter. Your explanation managed to jar a couple of concepts loose, so 
I'm not so intimidated any more.
