There's an advanced book too by the same author and he as a forum to ask
questions. My recommendation would be to check his website for the errata and
correct it in your book(s) because he does have typos and wrong code in a few
places. I've used and still refer to both of his books. But my main source of
knowledge is the php-guru I'm married to ;)
There's also an irc channel on openprojects for php help.
