Linksys has a Wireless Ethernet Bridge that does 802.11B. I currently have
it working from laptops that have either Centrino, Linksys USB wireless and
Linksys PCMCIA wireless. You hook the bridge up to a spare port on your
hub; configure both the bridge and client for AdHoc mode instead of WAP.
With the software installed, the bridge is configurable via browser-based
admin tool.

Other than the Linksys PCMCIA being very noisy on a Compaq, I've been quite
happy with it. But getting Centrino to work was a breeze so you might be
able to use other interfaces that do 802.11B.
