Yes it is possible to set-up multiple IPSEC VPNs using FreeS/Wan. If you need to connect to other sites using the PPTP type VPNs you will need other software.

The FreeS/Wan site has many details on interoperability with other IPSEC implantations, but I have no experience with these. Essentially the IPSEC specs have some 'vague' bits about how to implement certain things. That means that some IPSEC implementations will not work with FreeS/Wan - or they will 'work' to varying degrees. For example FreeS/Wan breaks the spec by not implementing single DES because it is not so secure.

To set-up multiple sites you only need to put multiple configurations in the ipsec.conf and away you go (after you do the routing/firewalling etc).

FreeS/Wan is great!

Hello,

I am planning to setup the FreeS/Wan on Debian. In the past, I have connected
to my work only using this VPN. But it looks like that I will be connecting to
different customer sites. Is it possible to setup different VPN connections
simultaneously to more than one different enterprise networks?

Thank you in advance.
