I got more info here, i traced 8 of the ip's
(arin.net) and there all coming from a communication's
company, i am also getting:

remote message: ^@

on the command line when i connect (successfully). I
would really like to be able to diagnose the problem,
any info would be appreciated, and if there's non to
be had, i'll keep looking into this. :)
