No need!  I think they put that at the top of the manpage 'cause it's the 
most common head-banging-screaming-yelling rm thing ever, but i'm always 
used to looking for magic and examples at the bottom of the page.  Now you 
can amaze your friends with your arcane knowledge of magical double hyphen.  I 
know it works for me.
