[Techtalk] OT : network emulation software

All,

I am trying to relocate something I found months ago. 99.9% sure it ran on
Linux BTW.

It was software that allowed one to build a virtual network on your PC with
routers bridges etc. and do testing and configuration on said routers
bridges etc. You even got a network topology map to look at.

Does anyone know anything about this type of software?
