It's also spelt fuba, and military and ex-military people will recognise
it. It stands for Fouled Up Bloody Awful, though the original people
used even more colourful language.

'foo' 'bar' 'baz' and 'quux' are traditional 'metasyntactic variables',
as in, they're used for examples and only for examples and have no
actual meaning.
