[Techtalk] X problems that only manifest when starting KNode

What happens if you run "xhost +" before you try to launch it?
That should allow anything to connect to your current X screen. Also,
what is the contents of $DISPLAY while you're in X? If it ends with :0.1
or something instead of :0.0 perhaps the program is attempting to display
on the kdm login screen instead of your desktop, or something.
