sgmltools has a -b txt option, just like its -b html and -b ps options.
Or did when I was using it. (note: the exact command might be -d or
something. I THINK it's -b, but I'm working from memory.)

I never used anything other than sgmltools, so I don't know what the
other docbook compilers do.
