fyi, fluxbox is "like blackbox with tabbed windows" (as opposed to fvwm), because it's stuck ontop of the blackbox source.

Regarding the origional subject of this thread, blackbox also happend to be low on resource consumption (mostly because it uses vectored gradients for themes, as opposed to pixmaps), whilst remaining rather pretty.

imho though, fluxbox a kludge, and badly implemented. The origional tabbed windows idea comes from pwm, which again, I recommend for being small and amazingly useful, although not as pretty. (And yes, I've used icewm et al and found them unsatisfactory)
