Exactly what I was trying to do last week. Tag everything from October.
I could not get the pattern thing from the manual to work. (In section
4.2: " ~d [MIN]-[MAX]  messages with `date-sent'' in a Date range")
Re-reading now, I think I see what I missed, of course, but I shall
send this just in case I'm wrong :)

I was thinking it would have to be a macro, but I can't find anything
useful. All I can think of is something horrible like "tag everything
from the month and copy them somewhere, find the message-ids and then
hunt for everything with those in the references". Uurgh.
