[techtalk] Mandrake 8.0 install problem

If you made an /etc partition there'll be problems.  When linux boots it
only mounts the / partiton first.  Not that I know from experience or
anything....hehe.  As for during the installation....I'm not sure, but
that might have something to do with it.......hm...what exactly are the
partitions you made?
