[techtalk] Linux Mandrake 7.0

usually, any text contained within `'s indicate that it is to be typed
exactly that way.  thus, at the command line, `lynx freshmeat.net` would
denote that this be typed:

lynx freshmeat.net

therefore bypassing lynx's default startup page :)
