[Techtalk] Annoying sound

Hi Chix. 

Something strange is going on with my machine, or strange to me anyway. 
There's this very annoying sound occuring everytime I play mp3's. It
goes like "beeeep, beeeep". I've tried various mp3 programs, but it's
all the same. 

Has this happened to you, or do you have any idea how to solve this?
