OK, you can register a DNS server with Network Solutions - in fact I
believe you must register with them. Kath's advice only applies if your domain
name is registered with them too.

Otherwise, fill out the form at:
http://www.networksolutions.com/cgi-bin/makechanges/itts/host

I don't think you need an NIC handle for a new nameserver.

Then when you have it set up, you can update your registration to use that
name server.

But first, actually set us the nameserver to serve for the domains. When you
attempt to change the nameservers, I believe they check whether or not that
server will return authoratative answers for that domain, and won't let you
change it it they don't get an answer.
