The lists went down due to some sort of fault. Deb is struggling to get 
them back up and correctly configured.
She doesn't /intend/ it to be a moderated list, but it's entirely possible
that some sort of configuration fault caused your reply.

BTW: The response I sent to you about the Xserver question was intended as 
a list response. I KNEW the list was still messed up, and I STILL forgot 
to check the 'to'. Grump.
