Same here, with 4.73 and Caldera Open Linux eDesktop 2.4, so I suspect th=

Tell me, did you get the Netscape upgrade from Slackware, or from
the Netscape site, or from a third place?  I previously had a problem wit=
h
4.73 and Caldera, and I found that the only version that worked for me wa=
s
the 4.73 RPM from the Caldera FTP server.  What I got from Netscape prior=
 to
Caldera releasing the RPM crashed frequently.  You may want to check
Slackware's web site/FTP server.
