[techtalk] How do I get rid of login screen

Hey Davida,
   It sounds like you should move /etc/inittab to runlvl 
5 to startx. Then in /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/* find where it 
points to xdm (the display manager) and replace that 
with a shell to startx. Somewhere along the line though 
you going to have to worry about /bin/login which 
handles request to login on a tty. It should be 
somewhere in the runlevel configs, although I'm not 
sure. Anyhow, I understood what you meant, have never 
tried it, and this idea is not tested just off the top 
of my head.
