Yeah, there's a class-action lawsuit against Compaq about their mobile
computers, too, I believe.  I'd never buy a laptop from them.  I'm not sure
I'd buy a workstation from them.  But their servers are pretty decent.

On the other hand, I might buy a laptop or a workstation from Dell or
Gateway, but servers -- not really their forte.

I'll look into VA -- several people have said that they'll even install NT
for you if you request.

On the thread about needing to be an expert to install Windows -- I would
say that most users who have installed Linux probably could install Windows.
I'm not sure how many people who've installed Windows could install Linux.
Whether this is indicative of user abilities or operating system abilities
is left as an excercise to the reader... ;-)
