/etc/resolv.conf should look something like this:

search <INSERT YOUR FAVORITE DOMAIN HERE>
nameserver <IP ADDRESS OF ISP DNS SERVER HERE>
nameserver <IP ADDRESS OF 2nd ISP DNS SERVER HERE>
