We are looking for an Onboarding Engineer to nurture fast growing companies
interested in deploying on DigitalOcean. Using technical knowledge and an
understanding of DigitalOcean’s infrastructure, the Onboarding Engineer
will manage prospective customers' questions and needs related to
infrastructure setup and migration. The primary objective of this role is
to ensure a seamless experience and successful deployment on our
infrastructure.

Most importantly, the Onboarding Engineer will deliver DigitalOcean's core
value through every interaction they have with customers – LOVE.

What you will be doing:
• Provide exceptional onboarding experience to potential customers
exploring DigitalOcean for their cloud deployment needs. Assistance may
include product explanation, demos, and providing tips on how-to best
navigate DigitalOcean
• Work with marketing team to find success stories on DigitalOcean in order
to build useful case studies for the community
• Obtain feedback through customer discussions and work with the
product/engineering team to continue building the best customer experience
• Attend conferences and educate potential customers through live demos on
the value of DigitalOcean
• Consistently grow your knowledge of DigitalOcean’s product, roadmap,
competition, and industry news

Requirements:
• Immense passion for helping others achieve their goals
• At least 1-3 years experience working in a sales role
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and
presentation skills
• Ability to help a customer navigate across DigitalOcean in a trusted
advisor/consultative approach
• Working experience with Linux/Unix
• System administrator or Developer experience
• Ability to quickly learn new technology and new products
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree preferred
