looking for a talented systems/devops engineer who can help keep our
application running well. Our ideal candidate loves to automate everything,
including rapid deployment, scaling, monitoring, and error handling.

o You are excited about working at a startup and on a small, talented team.
o You are obsessed (in the best way possible) with uptime, security, and
reliability.
o You are excited about any combination of JavaScript, Node.js,
microservices, and messaging systems, and can explain to a room full of
engineers why they're such compelling and powerful technologies (and what
their drawbacks are).
o You are active in the open source community or have a desire to start
contributing; our software engineers are constantly learning, using, and
contributing to open source projects.
o You can deliver on time-sensitive projects with ease and adapt to changes
along the way.

*QUALIFICATIONS*
o Extensive Linux systems administration and configuration experience
o Extensive experience with AWS, particularly with EC2, S3, and Route 53
o Experience with Docker
o Experience with Nginx
o Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins
o Experience with a provisioning or automation frameworks like Ansible,
Puppet, or Chef.
o Comfort and experience operating in a 24x7, highly available, scalable
server infrastructure

*NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS*
o Experience with New Relic
o Experience with Node.js
o Familiarity with CDNs and geographically distributed systems
o Experience configuring and optimizing PostgreSQL
