MANAGER STORAGE PRODUCTS TEST ENGINEERING
The SW Quality Engineering Manager will have a significant impact on the
lifecycle and overall quality of (Storage) product line. This position
requires significant experience with enterprise level Storage software and
managing a team of Test engineers.

JOB DESC

- Provide leadership to the software testing team with hands on guidance.
- Actively manage projects on a day to day basis to ensure that project
outputs are being delivered on schedule with adequate test coverage and to
the required quality

- Manage scope and mitigate risk across projects while maintain schedules
and resource allocation
- Management of staff. Provide employee development and team building.
Provide employee coaching and mentoring

Specific Technical Skills / Experience
- Sound knowledge of and hands on experience on FC/iSCSI/NAS (NFS,CIFS, FTP)
storage
- Hands-on knowledge of Linux OS and Windows Servers. Should be able to
write test scripts for such environments.

- Sound knowledge of Programming scripts in Perl/Shell/Python is desired.
Knowledge of C/C++ or other automation tools is a plus

- Knowledge on Storage Virtualization, Application server virtualization and
I/O virtualization. Knowledge of VMware Products is a must.

  a.. Thorough understanding of various RAID levels, Storage replication and
snapshots is required.
  - Sound understanding of I/O and disk interfaces and technologies (SAS,
SATA, FC, SSD)
  - Good familiarity with SQL and Mail servers.
  - Knowledge on Clustered servers and familiarity with industry acclaimed
performance benchmarking tools
Education:
- BS/EE degree in computer engineering or computer science or electric
engineering
