Hi,

I am currently looking for a Webmaster to join my team at Red Bee Media
where we provide operational support and QA services to the bbc.co.uk
website.  It is a 1 year fixed term contract to cover someone on a 1
year career break.

We're happy to take international applicants but we can't pay any
expenses or relocation and you would need to have all the appropriate
paperwork for working in the UK.  Telecommuting won't work for us and
you'll be based in the Broadcast Centre in the BBC's Media Village.

This is not a development or 'creative' role however there is scope for
development work in the team.  This is not a Linux role but Unix skills
will be a huge advantage.  You can summarise our approach to customer
service as "Be polite, be helpful" so Linuxchix seems the perfect place
to post this vacancy.

Do you care about the BBC and its site?

If you do, this may be the job for you.  While I can't offer anything
beyond the 1 year contract, this role would put the successful candidate
in a great position to go on to other roles in Red Bee Media or the BBC.
