Hi,
my (mother)company is hiring:

http://forskningsnett.uninett.no/stilling/2009_fagekspert_eng.html

About the position:
"UNINETT is looking for skilled professional with a keen interest,
enthusiasm, and strong skills within the areas of internet technology
and internet services, to contribute to the research in our Innovation
and Research department. We collaborate with both national and
international communities regarding standardization and research for
internet technology and services. The main focus of the position is to
develop architectures and prototypes, which then are used by our
partners and customers in various types of internet solutions."

In short, a research position in network and network technologies,
including multicast and IPv6, architechture and prototypes. Quite a lot
of international activity and travelling expected/required, and the
positions requires minimum a Master degree, preferably a Ph.D in a
relevant field.

About the company:
The UNINETT group supplies network and network services for
universities, university colleges and research institutions and handles
other national ICT tasks. The Group is owned by the Norwegian Ministry
of Education and Research and consists of a parent company and four
subsidiaries.

The company has a 65:35 male:female ratio, although many women work
in non-technical positions. The benefits are decent (Norwegian
standards), and includes full coverage during parental leave, sick
leave etc, five weeks paid holiday and a 37.5 hour work week.
The working language in the company is Norwegian, but that should not be
an obstacle if you are the right person. Women are encouraged to apply.

There are currently no women working in the R&D department of Uninett
(where this position is located), but all departments are co-located and
share common areas.

I work for Norid, one of the subsidiaries, so don't hesitate to contact
me if you have any questions about the company as such.

Magni :)
