PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER:   INSTRUMENTATION- COMPILER

 

Qualifications:

 

-MS in computer Science - Extra courses in languages, parsers and compilers preferred.

 

-5+ yrs experience at least 3 of which should be in a sr. engineer position

-designed, implemented and maintained compiler or parser for at least 1 well featured language, preferably one of C, C++, C# or Java.

-Hands on experience and proficiency in relevant tools and technologies.

 

Technology:

 

-OS:  Development experience in Linux or Unix is a must.  Experience in Windows development environment is a plus.

-Languages:  Solid understanding of programming language structures and grammars.  ----Very proficient in at least one of C, C++, C# and a scripting languages such as Perl or TCL. Compiler related tools such as yacc, lex, and code generation.

CONSULTING SOFTWARE ENGINEER (SOFTWARE ARCHITECT)

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

-MS in Computer Science or related engineering disciplines.  If direct work experience is exceptional,  BS in CS (or engineering) may be considered.

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

-10 yrs experience at least 7 of which should be in leadership position.

 

-Architected, designed and implemented at least 2 significant, commercially successful products or major components of very large and complex product.  The product mix should require work both with kernel as well as multi-tiered applications.

-delivered at least 1 significant, commercially successful product with project mngmnt responsibility for a team of 10 engineers/project size of at least 10 man years.

 

TECHNOLOGY:

 

-OS: At least one of following ; Linux, Unix, Windows2000/successors.

-Languages:  Very proficient in at least 2 of C, C++, C# and java.

-application architecture:  Strong experience in designing both client server and web-based applications required

-Databases:  Good exposure to at least one relational database.

-Management frameworks and Protocols:  experience with at least one; Tivoli, Open View, UniCenter, SNMP, WBEM. XML.etc

 

 

PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER (KERNEL)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

BS Computer Science

 

-7yrs experience at least 5 of which should be in a senior engineer position.

-Designed, implemented and maintained at least 3 significant components in commercially successful products which require significant amount of work with Linux. Unix kernel.

 

TECHNOLOGY:

 

-OS:  Development experience in Linux or Unix is a must.

-Experience with security issues, access control, networking stacks a plus.

-Experience in Windows Kernel/development environment is a plus

-languages:  Very proficient in at least one of  C, C++, C# and a scripting language such as Perl or TCL.
