Not a good idea, IMO. Best is to have a page on the site with whatever
information we want to give to the media and direct all media there.
Gives more exposure to the community and speaks for the community.

Let us make the site our showcase, not a person. Our community is too
small and premature to give control to any single person.

Similarly, all the information about forth coming meetings etc should
also be publicly stated on the site so that any media, if interested can
take part.

Minutes of the meetings to be put on the site as well so that they are
recorded for public view.

The information that goes on the Press page of the site will have to go
through the list compulsorily to avoid any conflict of interests.

Speaking out of my experience of 10 years in  communications industry.
