Hi Ankita!
It's nice to know that you were a speaker at mukthi. If I have not
mistaken, you were a part of IBM tech-talk. Right?
Well, apart from the conf, VRLINUG has been conducting workshop once a
year, for the juniors(1st and 2nd year students) that includes some
basics(Linux installation, creating makefile, using glade and some such).
There are quite a few teachers in the college who are interested in
assisting students for hobby-projects and prefer to have more students
diverted towards contribution to open sorce. Infact I had plans of
doing one using WEKA(a data mining tool and of course an OSS). But it
has halted currently.
Since I am new on this mailing list, I just wanted to know if you
people meet up regularly and conduct seminars or something of that sort

Regards,
Poornima
